January
January 8: Board Meeting – Howard’s Pit Barbeque – dinner at 6:30 p.m. – meeting at 7:30 p.m.
January 19: Business Meeting – 7:30 p.m. in the dining room on the fifth floor of St Francis Hospital.
January 20: Work session – at the Peck’s from 1 to 4 pm
February
February 13: Board Meeting – Howard’s Pit Barbeque – dinner at 6:30 p.m. – meeting at 7:30 p.m.
February 16: Business Meeting – 7:30 p.m. in the dining room on the fifth floor of St Francis Hospital.
February 23: Load the MTL at storage at noon.
February 24 & 25: Great Train Expo – Denver
March
March 13: Board Meeting – Howard’s Pit Barbeque – dinner at 6:30 p.m. – meeting at 7:30 p.m.
March 16: Load the MTL and head for Garden City, KS
March 17 & 18: Boot Hill Club Show in Garden City, KS
March 19: Head back home
March 23: Business Meeting – 7:30 p.m. in the dining room on the fifth floor of St Francis Hospital.

Election results
The 2006 board was reelected for 2007. Congratulations to all board members.
January 20 Work Session
On January 20th we will have a work session in Mike Peck’s garage weather permitting. The plan is to repair some electrical problems with the yard and do minor repairs to modules that need them. The session will be from 1 to 4 pm.
Events Calendar
At the January business meeting the club will be working on the events calendar for 2007. Bring your ideas for things to do and see to the meeting. Clinic ideas, road and camping trips, museum visits, anything you may wish to do. Bring those ideas.

Great Train Expo aka GTE
We plan to load the MTL around noon at the storage unit on Friday Feb. 23. Then eat lunch someplace and head for Denver to setup.
Club Swap Meet
The club is planning on doing a swap meet this year. We are in the process of putting together a planning committee to get this event rolling. There will be a flyer at the January Business meeting. See you there.

Articles
I’m in the process of putting together some articles on modeling. Unfortunately I moved some stuff around and can’t find my notes and jigs. Hopefully starting in February I’ll get back on track. I’ll be doing some small articles on long gone railroads in Colorado. If you have a favorite road you would like to write about send me an article and I’ll put it in the Railhead.
