For those of you wishing to go on this trip meet at the Monument Park & Ride at 8 am on Saturday July 11. The group will carpool from there to Golden. The cost is $12 per person.

For those who wish to go on this field trip we will meet at 10 am at the old Cub Foods parking lot at Constitution and Palmer Park and carpool from there. Bring a lunch and something to drink as this should take about 4 hours. Mike Peck will do El Paso County and Lester Coburn will do Elbert County.

The club has scheduled this trip for August 8 at 3:30 pm. We will meet at the Nevada Park & Ride. We will set the time at the July business meeting. The club opted to ride in one of the vista dome cars so we could have a better view of the gorge. The club has reserved 20 seats and 16 are spoken for. We do have the option of adding more seats so don't worry we'll have seats for those who wish to join us. Cost is $49.25 for adults and $18.30 for children 3-12. Unfortunately the money has to be in to the club by July 8 so we can pay thirty days in advance.

We still have a lot of work to do on the MTL. We will be trying to setup up a couple more work sessions so we can have the repairs completed by TECO in September. As we have not worked on the MTL lately I do not have any current pictures of what we are doing so you will have to waite till after the next work session.
